As mentioned in the previous post, we were going to wait a few years, maybe until Law School was over, to start our family. Also, as mentioned before, life sometimes throws you a curve
ball, and there isn't much else to do but swing! So, 3 days short of our 18 month anniversary, 3 weeks before I graduated from college, and 2 months before Rick started Law School, we were blessed with our little girl! For now we will call her KJ (still deciding if I should be including my kids names in here!)

I won't go much into the entire pregnancy or labor thing. What I will say about it is, for those of you who insist on having babies naturally, you're nuts! I know some of you, and you might be reading this blog! I still love you! I am not jealous of your ability to endure such pain though. God made men smart enough to come up with a way to make the baring of a child barable, and I took full advantage. Labor was my favorite part of pregnancy. I hadn't felt that good in 9 months!

It was a crazy few months, or years for that matter. My mom came for 5 weeks to help me get through finals and graduation. I didn't get to have that first child time with her, and that has always made me a little sad. She was precious though, and we were young!

Now, I am bias, because she is mine, but how stinkin' cute is she! KJ had the kind of personality and cuteness, that drew people to her! I can say this, because I have more than just her, and it wasn't this way with the others (they were cute too!) I could be in the line at the grocery store and the person behind me would ask to hold her. Kind of freeky, but like I said, I was young, and maybe a little stupid!!
She was a smiley happy little girl. She was a terrible sleeper though! About killed me, but cute enough to make up for it!
Rick was in Law School the first 3 years of her life. We spent a lot of time with Bommy and Poppy (aka my parents.) My mom babysat a lot so I could work. My dad made up for Rick being gone a lot. When Rick did have time he loved to play with her or take her swimming. She had him wrapped, and everyone else!!

KJ is the only one of my children that actually has something substantial enough to call a scrapbook. I don't have as many pictures of her little that aren't already glued to paper with some fun stickers around them! Since we weren't digital yet, I am just using what hard copies I have left and scanning them in! If you are ever visiting, ask her, she will show you her book! She is quite proud of it!

KJ has always been a spirited, active child. This is good and bad, but mostly good! She loves Softball, plays the piano (wish I could say loves) dances, and sings! She always has friends around and keeps our house lively! We love her.
I can not believe that she is already 12. Time does fly!
