Father's Day

To my Dad on Father's Day

Because today is Father's Day, I am dedicating this bog post to my Dad.

I have been blessed with a wonderful Father. He has taught me a lot through his example.

These a are a few of the things I have learned from my Dad;

Cars and boats can be replaced or fixed, people can't.

Honesty is the best policy.

Actions speak louder than words.

The Beach Boys rock.

You can run, surf, golf, snorkel, play tennis, and windsurf, all in one day.

Getting older doesn't mean you have to slow down.

It is possible to weigh the same as you did when you are 20, when you are 60.

Bribing is not a bad way to encourage skill development.

"Dang nab it"(sp?) is as effective as any real swear word.

Wet towels ruin the carpet.

Patience is a virtue.

And so many more.........

He is always there for me. Always has been. I can count on him no matter what.

He loves my kids, and they love him.

How many kids can say they have gone zip-lining in Hawaii, biking, hiking, windsurfing, and wakeboarding with their Grandpa?

He has more energy than any 20 year old I know, sometimes he wears us out!

So, today on Father's day, just wanted to say,

"Let's party!"

I love you Dad!
